AWS CCP Study Timeline (30 Days)
You can pass the AWS CCP in 30 days with 1–2 hours of focused study per day. Here's the plan.
Week 1: Cloud Foundations (Days 1–7)
- Day 1–2: What is cloud computing? Deployment models. AWS global infrastructure (regions, AZs, edge locations)
- Day 3–4: AWS Well-Architected Framework — all six pillars
- Day 5–6: IAM deep-dive — users, groups, roles, policies, MFA, root account best practices
- Day 7: Shared responsibility model + review quiz
Week 2: Core Services (Days 8–14)
- Day 8–9: Compute — EC2 instance types, Lambda, ECS, Fargate. Know what each is for.
- Day 10–11: Storage — S3 (tiers!), EBS, EFS, Glacier. Know the use cases.
- Day 12–13: Database — RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift. Know relational vs. non-relational.
- Day 14: Networking basics — VPC, CloudFront, Route 53. Review quiz.
Week 3: Security + Billing (Days 15–21)
- Day 15–16: Security services — GuardDuty, Inspector, WAF, Shield, Macie, KMS
- Day 17–18: Compliance — HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC, Artifact, Config
- Day 19–20: Billing — pricing models, Cost Explorer, Budgets, Free Tier, support plans
- Day 21: Full-length practice exam #1. Score it. Review every wrong answer.
Week 4: Review + Exam (Days 22–30)
- Day 22–24: Deep-dive your weakest domains based on practice exam results
- Day 25–26: Practice exam #2. Score it. Review.
- Day 27–28: Flashcards and service name drills. Quick-fire: "What does [service] do?"
- Day 29: Light review. No new material. Rest.
- Day 30: Exam day. Arrive early. Dump acronyms on scratch paper. Crush it.
